How does the app block my other apps?

Give Thanks uses Apple's built-in Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks. You pick which apps to shield, and iOS enforces the block until you write your daily gratitude entry. Nothing about your other apps is sent to us.

The apps aren't blocking — what should I check?

Make sure you granted Screen Time authorization when the app asked, that you selected at least one app to block, and that you're on iOS 17 or later. You can review these in the app's settings. If it still isn't working, email us with your device and iOS version.

Where are my gratitude entries stored?

On your device. We don't run a server that collects them. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Donation subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and select Give Thanks to change or cancel. You can also request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I delete my data?

You can reset your entries and answers in the app's settings, or delete the app to erase all associated data from your device.
